An exemplar of our Australian designs, this Specht is a novel exploration of espresso machine materiality. At the heart of the Linea Micra lies a choice that remains rare in the realm of espresso machine design: woven leather.
This natural, sustainable material is light, yet strong. Patiently woven by hand and set in place around the machine's core, the alternating surface texture invites touch - a tactile experience that distinguishes the Woven Leather Specht from almost every other home espresso machine.
Building on this foundation of woven leather, brilliant 23-carat gold gilds our signature floating cup rail, wands, gauge bezels, and fasteners. Gold-encrusted rings and fleur-de-lis faces differentiate the solid oak steam knobs from the chocolate-brown body. These touchpoints have endured our aging process, drawing the figured grain pattern to the fore.
Soft blue gauges offer a moment of visual respite amidst the contrasting brown and gold. Each Woven Leather machine is hand-crafted in our studio in Melbourne, Australia - a city at the heart of international coffee culture.
As La Marzocco’s most compact espresso machine, the Linea Micra brings genuine café-grade extraction home: dual boilers for simultaneous brewing and steaming, a saturated group head that ensures thermal stability, and PID temperature control offering precision to a tenth of a degree.
